Guitar Shielding Paint
Guitar shielding paint RF-IE50 30gr
Your electric guitar’s electronics function very well as an antenna to pick up all sorts of interference. Shielding a guitar is a good way to prevent outside signals from intruding into your tone.
It works like this: a conductive cage (essentially a Faraday Cage) is built around the guitar’s electronics, intercepting stray signals and shunting them to ground. The paint cleans up with water while still wet, and dries overnight. Brush on two or more coats of the conductive paint for best results (let dry between coats).
